Erroneous mutual fund performance numbers
Hi,
This was not an issue yesterday.
Is this happening due to dividend payout yesterday [Dec 18] ?

This was a reply for a question I posted about mutual funds data a few days ago.

Yes, the numbers are way too high. It seems like there is an issue with mutual funds capital gains data we receive from our data provider. I'm now checking out another provider we can plug in for these kinds of distributions.
DODGX had a 16:1 split recently, also capital gains aren't being treated properly either. That's why the data is off.
Not just DODGX though, all of the funds as far as I can tell have this issue. At least the ones with dividends and capital gains.

Hi Dmitry,
I compared 1Y & 5Y performance for some of my mutual fund holdings vs Morningstar (DODGX, VTWAX, MALOX, JMSIX, VBTIX) - and the PortfoliosLab data is NOT matching.
As a result of the data issues, PortfoliosLab is showing wrong total returns for my portfolio.
I need a tool for tracking my portfolio performance and hope a fix will be coming soon.
Thx,
Prashant
