Do I need to add dividends?

How do I add dividends or does it calculate automatically and include these in the total return? It's a distributing fund. and then I simply add new buys With the cash I received? Is there no ‘transaction type: div reinvestment’.

Hi, for transactional portfolios, dividends aren't accounted for automatically; this only happens with static portfolios. If you wish to track the cash portion of your portfolio, you can add "buy" transactions for USD Cash. While there aren't dedicated transaction types for this, using a cash buy should work just fine. However, if you're reinvesting your dividends immediately, the simplest approach is to add your newly purchased stocks directly.
