The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in municipal debt securities. It invests in an actively managed, diversified portfolio of tax-exempt municipal debt securities. The fund invests in investment grade securities. It may also invest up to 10% of its net assets in taxable municipal debt securities. Normally, the fund will have a dollar-weighted average maturity of three years or less.

MSTIX

The fund primarily aims to replicate the performance of the Standard & Poor's 500® Index by investing at least 80% of its assets in stocks reflecting this index. To manage liquidity and potentially lower transaction expenses, it may allocate up to 20% of total assets towards options and futures contracts.



MSXAX

The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in bonds. It will generally seek to maintain a weighted average duration within 2.5 years (plus or minus) of the duration of the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. The fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in securities denominated in foreign currencies.

MTMIX

The fund invests in equity securities issued by companies of any size or market capitalization range. While it does not limit its investments to issuers within a particular capitalization range, it generally invests in large capitalization companies. The fund may invest in securities of foreign issuers, including securities of emerging market country issuers.

MUBFX

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in a portfolio of floating rate loans and other floating rate debt securities. When the fund's Subadvisor believes that market or economic conditions are unfavorable to investors, up to 100% of the fund's assets may be invested in money market or short-term debt securities. The fund may invest up to 25% of its total assets in foreign securities which are generally U.S. dollar-denominated loans and other debt securities issued by one or more non-U.S. borrower(s) without a U.S. domiciled co-borrower.

MXFIX

Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of foreign companies, including securities of emerging market country issuers. It may invest in securities of foreign issuers in the form of depositary receipts or other securities that are convertible into securities of foreign issuers. The fund will invest in small, mid, and large capitalization companies.
