The fund will invest its assets so that at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowing for investment purposes) are invested in investments in small companies. The fund's manager considers a small company to be a company of a size similar to companies listed on the Russell 2000 Growth Index.

QISGX

The Federated Hermes MDT Market Neutral Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation while limiting exposure to general stock market risk by employing a quantitative model to invest in long and short positions within the Russell 3000® Index universe.

QQMNX

The investment seeks to provide current income and real total returns. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in investment-grade, inflation-indexed bonds issued by the U.S. government, its agencies or instrumentalities and corporations. Inflation-indexed bonds are fixed-income securities that are structured to provide protection against inflation. It may invest in derivative instruments, such as credit default swap agreements, to synthesize inflation-indexed bonds.

RRFIX

The fund's advisor allocates the portfolio of investments among the following three categories of the fixed-income market: domestic investment-grade (including, but not limited to, U.S. government, asset-backed, mortgage-backed, corporate and municipal), domestic noninvestment-grade (including, but not limited to, corporate debt issues, MBS and municipal securities) and foreign investments. In addition, when the Adviser considers the risk/return prospects of equity securities to be attractive, it may also opportunistically invest up to 20% of its assets in equity securities.

SINCX

The fund pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in high dividend-paying common stocks with dividend growth potential. The Adviser's security selection process involves prioritizing stocks based on appropriate fundamental criteria. Those companies that rank as highly attractive in the prioritization process are closely scrutinized for inclusion in the portfolio using bottom-up fundamental proprietary research. The fund may use derivative contracts, such as forward contracts, to manage or hedge the fund's currency exposure.

SVAIX

The fund primarily invests in common stocks and other equity securities of U.S. companies with small market capitalizations. The adviser seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in companies that the Adviser believes are undervalued relative to the market or their historic valuations. Small-cap companies are considered to be companies with market capitalizations at the time of purchase similar to those in the range of the Russell 2000 Index. It will invest its assets so that at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) are invested in small-cap companies.
