The Global X S&P 500 Risk Managed Income ETF (XRMI) seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Cboe S&P 500 Risk Managed Income Index. The fund employs a protective net-credit collar strategy, combining ownership of S&P 500 Index stocks with the purchase of 5% out-of-the-money put options and the sale of at-the-money call options on the S&P 500 Index to generate income while mitigating the risks of a major market selloff.
