The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in floating rate loans and other floating rate debt securities (80% policy). The Manager will determine how much of the fund's assets to allocate among the different types of securities in which the fund may invest based on its evaluation of economic and market conditions and its assessment of the returns and potential for appreciation that can be achieved from various sectors of the fixed income market.

Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in corporate bonds (80% policy). It may also invest up to 20% of its net assets in high yield corporate bonds ("junk bonds"). In addition, the fund may invest up to 40% of its total assets in foreign securities, but the fund's total non-U.S.-dollar currency exposure will be limited, in the aggregate, to no more than 25% of net assets.

DEEIX

Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in municipal securities the income from which is exempt from federal income tax, including the federal alternative minimum tax, and from Minnesota state personal income taxes. It will generally have a dollar-weighted average effective maturity of between 5 and 30 years.

DEFFX

Under normal circumstances, the Manager will invest at least 80% of the fund's net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in U.S. and foreign debt securities, including those in emerging markets (80% policy). It may invest up to 100% of its net assets in high yield, lower-quality debt securities. The fund may invest up to 100% of its net assets in foreign securities, including emerging markets securities.

DEGGX

Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in the equity securities of healthcare companies, meaning companies that develop, produce, or distribute products or services related to the healthcare or medical industries and derive a substantial portion, that is, more than 50%, of their sales from products and services in the healthcare industry (80% policy). It is non-diversified.

The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in a diversified mix of stocks, debt securities and short-term instruments, depending on market conditions. Regarding its income-generating equity investments, it invests primarily in medium to large, well-established companies. The fund invests at least 50% of its total assets in equity securities including convertible securities.

IBNAX

The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities, primarily common stock, of companies (i) from countries considered to be emerging market countries or (ii) that are economically linked to emerging market countries. It may invest up to 100% of its total assets in foreign securities and may invest in depositary receipts of foreign issuers. The fund also may invest up to 20% of its net assets in companies that are not located in, or economically linked to, emerging market countries.

IPOAX

The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in common stocks of U.S. and foreign companies that the manager believes are competitively well-positioned, gaining market share, have the potential for long-term growth and/or operate in regions or countries that the manager believes possess attractive growth characteristics. It primarily invests in issuers of developed countries, including the U.S., although the fund has the ability to invest in issuers domiciled in or doing business in any country or region around the globe, including emerging markets.
