Another additions to the Wishlist: Variable Time Intervals and Stocks FIll-Ins.

Hello Dmitry,

Here is another feature that would be very helpful- the ability to set variable time intervals in the portfolio graphs. Now, there are only pre-set intervals like 6 month, YTD, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years and "as long as possible".

If that would be a big resource hog, would it be possible to add to the pre-set intervals 3 months, 2 years and 3 years?

The fill-in is a possibility to extend time interval of a stock by substituting it with another stock for the time frame before the first stock exists. Example: Broadcom Inc ($AVGO) was created in ~2012; to model this stock before 2012, one can substitute it with Cisco. Of course, that will not be an exact substitution, but for some modeling purposes it could be very helpful.

Thank you.

Actually, what I really want is the ability to set a date range, not run everything up through today. For example, I want to compare how two assets did through black swan events and their recovery, like GFC, Covid, etc. That's hard to glean out of charts that run up through the present.

Along with that, I'd also like to be able to calculate the risk-adjusted performance metrics for those same periods.
