The company offers pension, savings, term life, cancer treatment, hospitalization health, new and simple cancer treatment, mild and simple hospitalization health, non-renewable cancer, dental, property damage, actual loss, injury, and child insurance products; insurance contract, premium credit, workers' sunshine, mobile, mini mobile, excellent employee credit, general office worker credit, mobile home mortgage, secured, and home mortgage loans, as well as loans for deposit and loans by phone; pension and custom funds; asset growth trust products comprising MMT, matching, and custom trust; succession trust products, including lifetime planning, special support, securities, and testamentary trust products; and retirement pension products and services. It also provides credit card services; and installment financing and leasing services. In addition, the company engages in the provision of real estate lease, investment and trust management, specialized credit finance, collective and real estate collective investment vehicle, asset-backed securitization, and new technology business investment association services. It serves individuals and enterprises. The company was formerly known as Dongbang Life Insurance and changed its name to Samsung Life Insurance Co., Ltd. in July 1989. Samsung Life Insurance Co., Ltd. was founded in 1957 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
