Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets will be invested in common stocks of mid-cap companies. Generally, mid-cap companies will include companies whose market capitalizations, at the time of purchase, range from the market capitalization of the smallest company included in the Russell Midcap Growth Index to the market capitalization of the largest company in the Russell Midcap Growth Index during the most recent 12-month period.

VMSGX

Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities of mid cap companies. "Assets" means net assets, plus the amount of borrowings for investment purposes. Mid cap companies are companies with market capitalizations equal to those within the universe of the Russell Midcap Index at the time of purchase.

VSNGX

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of small- and medium-capitalization companies; and up to 25% of the fund's total assets in equity securities of foreign issuers through ADRs and similar investments. The managers seek to identify companies that have the prospect for strong sales and earnings growth rates, that enjoy a competitive advantage and that the managers believe have effective management with a history of making investments that are in the best interests of shareholders.

WFDDX

The investment seeks to provide growth of capital. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in common stocks of mid-capitalization companies that the manager believes are high quality and/or offer above-average growth potential. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets in the securities of mid-capitalization companies, which, for purposes of this fund typically are companies with market capitalizations similar to those of issuers included in the Russell Midcap Growth Index over the last 13 months at the time of acquisition.

WMGAX

Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in stocks of small capitalized ("small cap") and medium capitalized ("mid cap") companies. It invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity securities, including common stocks and other forms of equity investments (e.g., securities convertible into common stocks), of small cap and mid cap domestic growth companies that are expected to exhibit quality growth characteristics.

WSMDX

The fund is a non-diversified fund that invests all of its investable assets in the Paradigm Portfolio, a series of Kinetics Portfolios Trust. The Paradigm Portfolio invests at least 65% of its net assets in common stocks, ETFs, convertible securities, warrants, and other equity securities having the characteristics of common stocks (such as American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs"), Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs") and International Depositary Receipts ("IDRs")) of U.S. and foreign companies that the Investment Adviser believes are undervalued. The fund is non-diversified.
