The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in a portfolio of: (i) below-investment grade variable or floating rate loans and floating rate securities; (ii) high yield fixed-rate loans or debt securities with respect to which it has entered into interest rate swaps to effectively convert the fixed-rate interest payments into floating-rate interest payments; and (iii) fixed-rate instruments with a duration of less than or equal to one year, including money market securities of all types, repurchase agreements, and shares of money market and short-term bond funds.

The investment seeks to provide high current income, and long-term total return.  The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in below-investment-grade variable or floating rate loans and floating rate securities selected by the sub-adviser, Wellington Management Company LLP ("Wellington Management"). The fund may invest up to 25% of its net assets in loans of foreign Borrowers and securities of foreign issuers, and up to 10% of its net assets in foreign loans or securities that are denominated in a foreign currency.

HFLYX

The fund will normally invest at least 80% of its assets in local currency-denominated emerging markets debt securities, as well as forwards and other derivative instruments that provide market exposure to such securities. It will invest primarily in non-U.S. dollar currencies. The fund will invest in both investment grade and non-investment grade debt securities (also referred to as "junk bonds") from emerging markets. It is non-diversified.

HLDIX

The fund primarily focuses on investing in equity or equity related securities of emerging market companies with a diversified portfolio across regions, sectors, market cap, and styles. It may invest over 25% of its assets in Chinese company securities, including H-shares and A-shares.

HSDEX

The fund primarily focuses on investing in China A shares and similar instruments, with the flexibility to use various means, such as the QFII Programs, for access.

HSHIX

The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in domestic and foreign debt securities that the sub-adviser considers to be attractive from a yield perspective while considering total return. It normally invests in non-investment grade debt securities (also known as "junk bonds") and highly rated securities.

HSNIX

The fund primarily invests in non-US equity securities and focuses on common and preferred stock, as well as convertible securities and derivatives for exposure to these securities.
